  • Capacity 400ml.
  • Fine, light bone china with a colourful decal.

The story of British Colour Standard:

The art/design team of Jackie Piper and Victoria Whitbread discovered an old colour dictionary in an Oxfam shop and began a journey to re-establish this long forgotten brand.
A treasure trove of colour established in 1931, but out of use since the 1950s, Piper and Whitbred created a profile for the many hundreds of colours created and logged in the 1930s. Derived and inspired from flora and fauna as well as semi-precious stones and spices, the main collections include historic and special Royal colours, designed and used for coronations and special events.
